This level 4 course covers more basic music theory.
In this course, you will build on and further your knowledge of music theory. You will be introduced to breves and breve rests, double-dotted notes and duplets, new time signatures, the alto clef, double sharps and flats, enharmonic equivalents, more keys and scales, more intervals, instruments and their families, and ornaments. You will also become familiar with more terms and signs in common use.

7. The minor 2nd; augmented and diminished intervals
8. Primary triads; primary chords in root position
9. Instruments and their families; instrument ranges, clefs and directions
10. Ornaments; new Italian and French terms; repeat signs
